Sales Executive – Key Accounts

Do you want to develop partnerships with some of Europe’s leading department stores and drive profitable growth for Konges Sløjd?

We are looking for a commercially strong Sales Executive to take ownership of a portfolio of key accounts across Europe. You will work with department stores such as Harrods, Selfridges, KaDeWe, de Bijenkorf and ILLUM, where our shop-in-shops bring the Konges Sløjd universe to life.

Your role is to grow the business through strong customer relationships, clear account plans and close follow-up throughout the season. You understand what drives performance on the shop floor and know how to turn that insight into concrete commercial action.
Based at our Copenhagen office, you will be part of our Global Sales team, reporting to our Sales Director.

Your role:
You will have day-to-day commercial responsibility for your own customer portfolio and be the customers’ primary point of contact. You will develop long-term partnerships and identify opportunities across product categories and store locations, supported by buying, merchandising, planning and the marketing team.

From seasonal sell-in and assortment planning to sell-out, stock levels and replenishment, you will follow your accounts closely and keep both growth and profitability in focus.

Your main responsibilities will be to:
  • Drive sales and profitable growth across your key account portfolio
  • Develop and execute annual account plans with clear targets, priorities and growth initiatives
  • Lead seasonal sell-in and advise customers on assortment and product selection
  • Prepare and conduct commercial negotiations in alignment with our Sales Director
  • Monitor sell-out, stock levels and product performance, and work actively with replenishment and reorders
  • Prepare forecasts, budgets and sales plans, and follow performance against targets
  • Use sales and margin data to identify opportunities and act on underperformance
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Visual Merchandising on launches, campaigns, events and consistent brand presentation

You will also work closely with Customer Service, Supply Chain and Finance to ensure that customer agreements translate into strong day-to-day execution.

About you:
You have experience in key account management or B2B sales and are used to taking independent responsibility for large retail customers. You build strong relationships, are confident in negotiations and understand how assortment, stock and trading terms affect profitability.
You work in a structured way, follow through on agreements and use data actively to decide where to focus your efforts.

We also imagine that you:
  • Have experience with major department stores, strategic retail accounts or complex wholesale customers
  • Have worked with account plans, sell-in, sell-out, forecasting and replenishment
  • Can demonstrate commercial results from developing customer partnerships
  • Communicate and present confidently to customers and colleagues
  • Are confident user of Excel and relevant sales and reporting systems
  • Are fluent in English, both written and spoken

Experience from fashion, children’s products, lifestyle or premium retail is an advantage.

Why join Konges Sløjd?
You will join an international company in growth, where the pace is high, decisions are made quickly and you have the opportunity to turn ideas into action.

You will work with a distinctive brand, strong collections and some of Europe’s most exciting retail partners. This role gives you responsibility for developing your accounts, supported by colleagues across Sales, Marketing, Visual Merchandising and Operations.
The position is based at our Copenhagen office. Regular travel within Europe is expected for customer meetings, seasonal presentations and market visits.

Your application:
Send us your CV and an application describing how you have developed key accounts and the commercial results you have achieved.
Deadline to apply is the 31st of October.
