Senior Merchandising Specialist

We are looking for a Senior Merchandising Specialist to help develop our collections across clothing, footwear, accessories, home and toys.

We need you to combine product knowledge, sales data and market insights to recommend what our assortments should include, how they should be priced and where we have opportunities to improve.

Your role:
You can use data to challenge a collection constructively in a design-driven company where you need to balance commercial judgement and an appreciation of the creative process.

Our distribution spans wholesale partners, our own online and physical stores, and department stores. You will help adapt assortments to these different settings and regional needs, while keeping a clear direction across the collections.

Your main responsibilities will be to:
  • Build seasonal style and option plans that support agreed sales, margin and sell-through targets
  • Review price points and prepare pricing recommendations across categories
  • Analyse sales, margins, sell-through and stock levels, identifying opportunities to improve performance and simplify the assortment
  • Follow product performance across seasons and recommend actions from launch through to markdown and phase-out
  • Develop assortment recommendations for different markets, channels and retail formats
  • Combine competitor analysis, consumer observations and input from Sales to identify product opportunities
  • Share clear collection reviews and practical recommendations with Design, Product Development and Sales
  • Coordinate agreed product needs with Product Development and flag gaps or risks in the pipeline
  • Work with Marketing on product priorities, launch timing and campaign focus
  • Maintain accurate product categorisation and merchandising data, and improve the processes behind seasonal planning

You will assess requests from markets and customers against the overall assortment strategy, commercial potential and brand direction in collaboration with our Product & Merchandising Director. Your recommendations will help the teams decide what to develop, what to build on and what to reconsider.

About you:
You have experience in merchandising and know how to turn analysis into decisions about products, pricing and assortments. You are comfortable discussing both creative ideas and commercial results, and you can explain your recommendations clearly.

We imagine that you:
  • Have at least seven years of merchandising experience within premium or Nordic lifestyle brands, fashion or childrenswear
  • Have worked with category performance across several sales channels
  • Have a solid understanding of assortment planning and pricing structures
  • Can identify the implications behind the numbers and recommend concrete actions
  • Work in a structured way and coordinate tasks and deadlines across teams
  • Build good working relationships and are prepared to question assumptions
  • Are proficient in merchandising tools and have experience with PLM systems
  • Are fluent in English, both written and spoken

Your application:
Send us your CV and an application with examples of how you have helped improve an assortment or category’s performance.

Deadline to apply is 8th of November.
