Data & Analytics Engineer – BI & AI

Do you want to take ownership of Konges Sløjds data platform and develop AI solutions that make everyday work easier for your colleagues?
We are looking for a Data & Analytics Engineer to further develop our Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse and Power BI platform and help turn the potential of AI into practical solutions across our business.

BI is the foundation of the role, with AI becoming a regular part of your responsibilities. You will take over an established data platform and help shape our approach to AI and AI agents from an early stage.

Your role:
  • You will work across the full data process, from source data and data models to reporting and business insights. Our main source system is Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, alongside PIM, PLM, CRM, e-commerce systems and others.
  • Working closely with colleagues across the business, you will understand their needs and translate them into reliable solutions. You will be part of our IT team and work with external consultants when specialist input or additional development support is needed.

Your main responsibilities will be to:
  • Maintain and develop our Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse and Power BI solutions
  • Build and maintain data pipelines, data models and reports
  • Translate business needs into clear requirements and practical data and AI solutions
  • Ensure data quality, reliable operation and up-to-date documentation
  • Enhance our platform to include “chat with your data” capabilities
  • Identify workflows where AI agents can save time or improve quality
  • Develop, test and deploy AI agents together with IT, business colleagues and external partners
  • Coordinate development and resolve issues with our external data partner as needed

Working with AI:
You will help identify where AI can make a useful contribution and develop solutions that colleagues can use in their daily work. These could include agents that bring together information, support analysis, automate manual tasks or improve customer experience.

You will have a say in the tools and development methods we use and help take promising ideas from initial testing into reliable operation. You do not need to have worked extensively with AI agents already, but you should be motivated to build your skills and take an active role in developing this area.

About you:
You have practical experience in BI development and are ready to take responsibility for a data platform and its continued development. You are curious about how the business works and understand that useful reporting and analysis starts with reliable data and a clear understanding of the processes behind it.

We imagine that you:
  • Have experience with Power BI, data modelling, DAX and SQL
  • Have worked with Microsoft Fabric or a comparable data platform
  • Have used GenAI or agentic coding in software development, or are curious to learn
  • Has interest in ERP data and business processes within sales, purchase, inventory, finance
  • Are motivated to develop and implement AI agents and process automation
  • Work in a structured way, from clarifying a need to delivering and supporting a solution
  • Communicate clearly and enjoy working with business colleagues and external consultants

What we offer:
You will join an international design company where you can take responsibility, influence decisions and see your solutions being used across the business. As part of our five-person IT team, you will work closely with colleagues who understand the business and have external specialists to draw on. This role offers the opportunity to deepen your expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Power BI while building practical experience with AI.

Your application:
Send us your CV and an application describing a data solution you have worked on, the business need it addressed and your contribution. Furthermore, please explain how you find developing AI agents interesting.

Please apply no later than 10th of November.
